1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ApproveMyVisa ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms apply to all users including free and paid customers.
2. Description of Service
ApproveMyVisa provides:
- AI-powered immigration information and guidance
- Document checklists for visa applications
- AI-generated cover letter templates
- Refusal letter analysis and reapplication guidance
- Points calculation for immigration systems (Canada CRS, etc.)
- General information about visa requirements and processes
We do NOT provide: Legal advice, legal representation, guaranteed visa outcomes, RCIC or immigration lawyer services. Our AI responses are informational only and may not reflect the most current government policies.
3. No Guarantee of Visa Approval
ApproveMyVisa makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty that following our guidance will result in a visa being granted. Visa decisions are made solely by government immigration authorities at their complete discretion. We are not responsible for visa refusals even after you have used our service.
4. Accuracy of Information
We strive to provide accurate and current immigration information. However:
- Immigration rules change frequently and without notice
- AI responses may contain errors or be outdated
- Always verify requirements directly with official government websites
- Requirements vary significantly based on your individual circumstances
- For complex cases, consult a licensed RCIC or immigration lawyer
5. Payment and Refund Policy
Payments: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Payment is required before accessing paid features.
Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our service where you receive immediate access to AI-generated content, we generally do not offer refunds once a package has been delivered. However, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:
- Technical failure preventing access to your purchased package
- Duplicate payment due to a technical error
- Request made within 24 hours of purchase where no content has been accessed

6. User Responsibilities
By using our service you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your visa applications
- Use our service only for lawful immigration purposes
- Not misrepresent information to immigration authorities — this is illegal and can result in permanent bans
- Not share your account with others
- Not attempt to circumvent or abuse our AI system

7. Prohibited Uses
You must not use our service to:

- Misrepresent facts to immigration authorities
- Abuse or overload our AI system
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Resell or redistribute our AI-generated content commercially without permission
- Use our service if you are under 18 years of age
8. Intellectual Property
The ApproveMyVisa name, logo, website design, and AI-generated content are owned by us. You may use AI-generated content (checklists, cover letters) for your own personal visa application but may not resell or redistribute it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, ApproveMyVisa and its operators shall not be liable for:
- Visa refusals or denials following use of our service
- Inaccurate information provided by our AI system
- Losses resulting from outdated immigration information
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Costs of immigration lawyers or consultants you hire as a result of our guidance
Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for our service.
10. Privacy
Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and comply with PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
